3rd Women Insolvency Professional
The 3rd women Insolvency Professional to be licensed in India after the enactment of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC).
Earlier she was a consultant for banks and Financial Institutions for many years, and had assisted more than 47 Banks and Financial Institutions to resolve / turn around cases of approximately Rs 11000 crores, under the SARFAESI Act.
An alumni of SRCC (Shri Ram College of Commerce), Delhi University and a Gold Medalist, Pooja she has received various awards , especially relating to her high standards of ethics and values.
She has successfully handled many cases under IBC and even during the COVID period, resolution plans in cases handled by her had been approved in the cases being handled by her. Currently she is handling the matter of United News of India, which is the second largest News Agency of the India and is making all endevours to revive back the long-ailing company. Her integrity, diligence and high standard of values and morals are very well known in the banking and financial industry.
